I didn't eliminate it, I said it would be unfortunate and gave my opinion on it. I suppose it's a matter of whether you consider "deciding not to decide" a decision or not. I don't

And this contrast between the two of us is precisely why I believe that one person's decision can not be applied to another person's. Our fundamental underlying differences in philosophy are precisely why I don't think I could come up with a belief that works for me and should therefore automatically work for you.

I think your standpoint is extremely valid. However, if I wanted to nit-pick, I could easily apply your philosophy to your own philosophy. Essentially, you believing that spirituality and meaning should be an individualistic matter, should in that regards, only be applied to you. Kellstar's philosophy could assert, however unlikely this is, that one should maintain his or her opinions and views strictly based on that of others. For this to be true someone else would have to maintain this same view, which is highly unlikely as well, however I am not one to criticize one's beliefs, however ridiculous they might be.

Heh, it's interesting how much one can extrapolate...

I personally should think that crudely apeing someone you think is better than you isn't a particularly compelling reason to pick your religious beliefs. If anything, it says you have so little knowledge of yourself, and so little understanding of your own needs, and so very little confidence in your own ability to chose that you will simply copy someone you think is your superior rather than make a decision.

Personally, I feel that is unfortunate.
Well done on assuming that I based my beliefs on the beliefs of others merely because I mentioned that there are many notable atheists.

Well done on misinterpreting me and then getting upset about it even though you probably aren't even sure what you're upset about. Cheers

"I'm sorry, the answer you were all looking for is Mormon. Yes, Mormon."

South Park says Mormon, but I personally don't think it matters.

Ironic because a Buddhist would say there is no best religion

Buddhism is a religion, it is simply structured very differently than religions we are more familiar with like Judaism, Christianity and Islam

the best religion is one in which you find peace and do not take a message of intolerance away from.
