Hey guys well today i was browsing the nation and i saw a stiffi tip for a good price. So i was wondering if the stiffi tip would fit on pipe kit backings?

Only if the stiffi tip is made for the pipe backs. There are several different versions of the stiffi tip with different theadings.

and the only reason i'd buy a stiffi tip for a pipe is if the pipe tip is too loud. you loose the ability to use a swab to save like 3 grams of weight, however it is a bit quieter than the pipe tip

in my opinion...no but it all depends on you. i like bieng able to use swabs. weighs a couple grams less, i wouldnt notice it at all. it is much quieter tho.
