Mine lives on as a pump
If I wanted to go back... it wouldn't be the same. MQ2s change you.

yea thats a pretty good trade imo. seems kinda hard to sell a nice e-cocker these days with so many nice newer guns around the same price.
ive always heard midblocks were louder, prolly since theres less material around the bolt. i always felt my karni was loud when i was using it, then i loaned it out once and from the sidelines it wasnt loud at all. rapper is still way quieter.

I always thought my Mini was quiet... then I shot my P/S.

Excited for the Karnivor...
I've never owned an e-cocker.
Rebel that sounds delish.

I do think midblocks are a little louder than fulls because of that, but my Blackout was every bit as quiet as my friends Karni so that threw me off since that was ultimately the same gun as the Black Magic. I never really tried to hard to quiet it down and everything though, just because it still shot nice

qev's do tend to have that loud "pft" sound though. my trilogy is damn quiet and its really the only other cocker ive used than the karni. the loudest part of it is the bolt closing.

It was more of a metallic noise that came from the ram. It also had a metal bolt slider so maybe that made a bit extra noise. Then the actual shot was more of an Ego bang than a cockers pop. Blackout was the epitome of a perfect cocker though. I wonder if I could get it back....

Mmmm half block..
I'm working on designing an all in one unit to hold an MQ assembly and a lower tube mounted ram for full bodies. The idea is to modernize the cocker and rid the front block and just have a front mounted LPR. Obviously its more complex than that, like trying to mount the cocking solenoid in the frame... But its a start.
and of course as soon as i post this, I realized a huge problem with the design...

derp, got auto-corrected to mark instead of marq.
ive thought for a while it would be cool if someone arranged an autococker like a marq internally, at least the lpr and solenoid locations.
or maybe take a halfblock body, and have the cocking noid mounted directly to a ram. ram is mounted to rear of bolt and the whole "assembly" sits at the back of the gun, with the cocking noid sitting down in the lower tube behind an mq valve. tricky part would be getting air to the noid and ram, and i think the body would have to be a little longer for there to be enough room behind the mq for a cocking noid to fit...normal cocker body might be too short but i bet with some merlin extrusion it could be done.

what's the easiest way to put 3 way hose on? ugh.

the project i had in mind was going to use a nxt frame, its what gave me the idea to put the cocking noid in the back and maybe run the lpr hose back through say a karni wire cover pipe and through the top of the frame, theres plenty of room.

maybe. thats wierd. but shouldnt that setting be on the high side anyway in case you ever have to turn off eyes? or at least near the factory fast setting?

First thing I did was write down what it was set to, reset to factory fast, and compare. It was already at factory fast when I got it.
It it were a regular cocker I would have just adjusted the cocking rod... But no...
And isn't it cdel that is for eyes off?
Edit - nvm it is con.
