You may want to consider buying a reg...

You can use any size tank that you want on a stock E99, as long as its HP.

Because this is a sticky.

I think the Palmer has pretty broad range, like 0-800...

Don't quote me on that though.

Look for the recharge test graph that HaveBlue did for the 2-Liter, I think that the Ergo may be listed on it.

Newb question but here it goes.

I have an old spyder imagine with a psychoballistics mini drop (w/ on/off). I bought a 68/3k tank and will be using it as soon as i get it hydro'd.

Would you recommend upgrading any other parts of the air system like getting a reg.? I'd only like to know things that would give a noticeable performance increase. I do not plan on upgrading the internals of the marker. I'll buy something better if I stick with the sport for a while.

ok, i have never shot a paintball gun with n2. yes, i kno, sad isnt it. if i can work out a deal with a guy i kno of who has a hp compressor, what kind of bottle would i want 2 get? im a back player, and the guy only does scuba tanks and guess wat...my dad scuba dives! ne ways, his tanks are rated at 3000 psi, so wat size of bottle would i want 2 purchase? 80ci, 114ci, 90ci? i shoot about 1 case of paint per day of paintballin (mostly rec stuff). im savin up 4 a palmers reg so i can use co2 as a backup if i really hav 2. my choices again are 80/300, 90/300, 114/3000, or 68/3000. thanx 4 ne help!

That depends on the tank, is the tank reg consistant?

Does your velocity stay under 300fps?

How far apart are the readings at the chrono?

Answer those questions (by using your set up), then you'll know whether or not you need a reg.

I've never used those parts, but I just saw a thread on this; and the guy was having recocking issues with similar parts.

It was the CIP block, and a Shocktech bolt.

Also, I've heard that there is a velocity drop with ACS, so you may need to run a bit higher than you normally would.

68/3k is a decent size (physically), but you'll definitely need to refill more often compared to using other easily available tanks.
