WOULD YOU BUY IT - a Marketing Survey
If new entry-level electronic gun that's not a Spyder-clone:
1. is made simpler
2. easier to maintain
3. made to look sexier
4. runs great on CO2
5. performs at speeds equal to high-end tournament guns
6. Cost less or the same as a electro Spyder
7. and more reliable than your sear-tripper blow backs.
Would you take it over the hottest electro-Spyder or any of its clones?

I'd need more information to make a qualified decision. (i.e. method of operation and why it's more reliable than sear trippers)

Cheaper than what electro spyder? The imagine or the fenix? That is a wide range of price. If it were cheaper then the imagine then yes, if cheaper than the fenix then I would just get a body and mod it my self.

ya, and i there are only 3 other ways that i can think of semi-auto operation besides blowback, the cocker kind, the air ram, and that SFT thing in the 03 shockers, so what kind will this marker have?

Yes. It won't be a blow-back anymore. So when you run out of air, it doesn't go full-auto on you and announce it to the rest of the world that you're out of air. We're introducing a new valving technology that will replace the hammer, valve, sear and sear-tripping 'noid.

no dude, theres a ton of theories of operation
blowback-sear
blowforward-sear
full e-pnau
spring return e-pneu
rainmaker dealio(really cool)
cocker-sear
noided cocker
blowforward spool valve
basic spool valve
boltess blowback
boltless cocker
boltless e-pnaeu
boltess spool valve.
i own you. give up.
theres almost now ay you could pull this off, with a different theory of operation? it would cost more than a most spyders.
hell, most good noids are $30, then each part need propritory machining... it ads up. way too high price for entry level.

Speaking of plastic...
I bent a Side Elbow for Vertical feed and it's the strongest PLastic Elbow I have ever used.
But this would be cool.
Also a more compact gun would be cool, like the grip and frame closer.

I have an idea Mr Ronin
Ask the members what they want instead of asking if they'd buy a generally OK sounding gun with no specs

Should I equate your technical proficiency with your use of the word dealio?
The valves you've mentioned above are either derivatives of the Nelson-style Poppet Valve or Spool Valve (A.I.R/RT/X-Valve nothwithstanding). In either case, an off-the-shelf industrial solenoid is being used to trigger a pneumatic response ( i.e. the striking of a hammer, the acutation of a bolt, or the actuation of a spool).
I understand that almost 900 posts worth of information maybe too much reading, but at least find out about the PBX mQ-Valve . It'll give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.....and a little enlightenment isn't bad.
The new technology will basically reduce the manufacturing cost and deliver a high-performance gun at entry-level prices.
Would that be reason enough to consider looking into the '04 World Cup's most intriguing new technology?

It is our philosophy to be "Player-Driven"...... don't worry, you'll get your chance to give your input on what we should to make a better gun.

Okay Ronin, just cough up the goods...
Super cheap E-cocker...?
PBX Reapers used to be Blue Chips from Harrisburg, right?
If those guys are using it over their Timmys, I'll check it out...
EDIT*
BTW:
If this is the gun that you're talking about, then did you really need to make a poll?
Or was that just clever spam...?
Because, I really don't see this as being a cheap marker...

Hmmmmm....
Well, can you tell us more about the operation, you have me very interested in this....
If it ends up being a super cheap spool design, you can sign me up right now....
I don't think you ever answered though, are you offering an eye system with this marker...?
I think if that if low end pneumatic markers (BKO mostly) had an eye system stock, sales would go through the roof...
I mean, just look at the popularity of The One....

I was wondering when PBX was planning on trying it out w/ Spyders. I still haven't had time to look into how it works, but I've seen the videos. I'll have to read into it and talk to Dayspring.
Good luck and good job! It's always fun to see something new for Spyders and the sport.

We already have. In-house, we call the either Timmy Jr. or the Mini-Timmy.
It's totally different from what OGI has done with The One. Ours doesn't need a secondary LPR and the anticipated cyclic rates are in the +30cps. The ROF will probably be not too far behind.
There's a boat-load of goodies that we will be launching in the next couple of months. Starting with the PBX Cocker at the World Cup.
