I purchased a maxflow 68/45 from him and received it promptly. It did and still does have a small leak and also had a bad fill nipple. This has been 2 weeks and he never responded to any queries I have had about it. I think it is just orings (though i have replaced them once) but the fact that he has refused my im's and mail is annoying.
edit: In response to his rebuttal of this--the on/off valve was and still is not working correctly even after replacing orings. The tank will not hold air for over 2-3 hours with the valve in the off position. I am going to have to send it in to get it fixed. Also even though stuff goes bad all the time and while I got them for free--I didnt pay for a tank with routine problems. And on communication--at any rate there was no repsonse on your part--hardly first class.

This maxflo in question was just rebuilt by a SP tech at IAO. The fill nipples go bad all the time when you use Bauers fill stations or any other flash fill system. He has not tryed to contact me in the last 2 weeks. He did im me a few times after he received it and told me about the fill nipple. He said someone was sending him 2 new ones for free so not to worry about it. Other than that he has not contacted me, or told me about anything else. Sooo... whatever he thinks

Just got the Pipe kit I bought from him today. Very prompt service! A++++ on shipping time. Communication was pretty good, would rate at A+++.
The only issue I have, which is a minor one, was that the Pipe kit was shipped in its origional container, just taped up. I'd have put it in a box with some foam as the ano is wearing from the tip on the flutes. Though I freely admit this could have been pre-existing wear. Besides that the container has had something crush or otherwise squeeze it during shipping and seems to have had the butt plate cracked up.
Now these things again, are just shipping and in no way the fault of the seller. However I would suggest to him to wrap the next Pipe kit he sells in some packing bubbles and put it in a box. I'd even put a layer around the tip INSIDE the tube
Overall, A+++ guy to work with!! Don't hesitate to buy from him |
