Ok getting back in the game after 3 years.

I bought a brand new vice, as far as upgrades go, are they the same as the intimidators or something? I can't find any. Sorry if I couldn't find it in the search feature but I have been out for a long time and a lot has changed since I stopped playing.

Yea, you really do not need any upgrades to rock a vice... It is good as is.

You guys are right but I just wanted to know if there is anything I want to change after playing with it, where I could start.

i think a few places to start are:

if you play strictly semi, go with the 4 eyes
new lurker eigen ram, i hear good things about them

to be honest, thats about it. vices are amazing guns, and ready to rip out of the box.

The only thing I uped on my vice was to 4c eyes because i practice only on semi which it made a huge difference for me. I also changed my grip to the Virtue Guns and style and threw on a Dye Ultralite Barrel. I also picked up a "repair" kit for my vice which includes all replacement Orings and springs and parts for the gun just incase you need to replace anything or lose any part........

Overall a great gun.......

The first thing to buy for it should be a pressure tester.

deff a pressure tester to fine tune the lpr, then a oled board, maybe a 2liter+ hpr then 4 eyes, then a ram....

I've basically turned my Protege into a Vice, as far as internals go, with one exception, and that would be the 4C eyes.

Out of the box, the only two upgrades that I would put on as "needed" upgrades on a Vice, would be 4C eyes and a gear drive on/off.

As suggested an LPR tester is good to have.

The rest of the upgrades out there are for "tweakers", guys that love to screw with their equipment trying to get that last bit of efficiancy or less kick or whatever else they are trying to change. The Eigenram or NecroRam are out there, though the NecroRam is on hold right now for undisclosed reasons, I've tried long and short CP regs on my Proteges and went back to the stock 360, I haven't tried the 2 Liter though, but I hear good things.

Boards can be changed, such as the Tadao OLED board, I'll be getting one soon, only because I'm getting a good deal on it and I realized how much an aftermarket board can improve the way a marker works. I went from the stock Frenzy 3.0 in my Protege to a Tadao M8, which is basically the same as your stock Ryujin board in your Vice, which is why I didn't such a board earlier in this post. The OLED gives you information about what the marker is doing and allows for easier setting of options instead of counting LED flashes. If you get the USB version you can plug it into your computer to change settings. Even create your own welcome screens.

You can get different grips, but that's a personal choice not sure I'd lable as an "upgrade", but just more of a personal preference, SPD, Virtue, and other grips are out there.

The only other suggestion I's really that have you might see a difference from is an aftermarket barrel. I don't like my stock Assassins barrel for my Proteges, but people rave about the stock barrel for the Vice, so it may be better. I use an Invert Night Stick on my Protege because I got a good deal, it's light and seems to be more accurate than my other barrel system I have. I like the carbon fibre barrel just because it makes the overall marker light and makes it easier to hold, and move around.

Unless you like to tinker all you need is:
1) Pressure tester. Even if you don't like messing with settings/pressures, need the tester after taking the LPR apart to lube with DOW 55.
2) DOW 55 and Triflow or equivalent
3) O-rings

Anything else is user preference.
Lurker rams, LP poppit valve, board. Search Gen5 Timmies and you'll see all kinds of upgrades.. I've had mine almost a year and other than batteries and lube, I haven't done anything to it.
