I agree that it's loud. It's even loud for an Ego! But that's due to the fact that the barrel has minimal milling and less porting than a standard Ego barrel. I'm pretty sure that with a longer more ported barrel it would quiet down to the same level as other Ego's. I don't think it will ever be as quiet as my ST'd Geo, though.
