just got a nice black 07 borg cause i missed the muppet mowing godlyness of my old one.
so far, its shooting great. like around 270fps with lpr flush and hpr at 170psi
but the lpr leaks randomly out of the hole on the lpr cap.
seeing as i just got done with completely tearing it down and cleaning it, i don't wanna do it again and replace a wrong seal
is it the lpr piston oring or one of the lpr body orings?
i don't have any more air but its prolly the lpr piston
oh, and what size screw is the one that goes on the back of the bolt to hold the spring in?
i underbored with psi at 200. flush lpr, 275 fps. but i was having fsdo.
eh its doable.. our tech runs his borg at like 160... but hes a beast when it comes to tuning

just how the previous owner broke it in
it had like 20 cases thru it but the gun was mint.
i also am using militia lube and gave all the internals a cleaning
If you completely tore it down and cleaned it then you might have put the valve retaining screw in too far. I did that once and I had a leak out of the front of the LPR.
But usually when a leak like that happens its the LPR piston like skitzo said. A good coat of hater sauce should do the trick.
i made it snug (the valve retainer)
the thing was really tight before and kinda ground it into the valve a tad and took some anno off the bottom.
i don't see how tthat would affect it
its an on and off leak
i idn't take apart the regs. i just took out the lpr piston, wiped it down and put some militia on it
gotta see tomorrow
It's pretty amazing that the dwell is that low with those settings.
If the valve screw is in too far it can push the bottom of the valve far enough away from the body that the o rings no longer seal on the bottom. So it's important to make sure it's not in too tight.
also, i just polished the tip of the ram that glides across the ram guide witha dremal, a cotton polisher, and some scratch remover turtle wax.
i was very gentile but would it mess things up? i don't want to mess the tolerances up. it had some wear on the front before so thats why i polished it
i can still see faint scratches from the old wear so i didn't take off much
i also did 2 parts militia lube 1 part tri flow and the bolt moves by slightly tilting it
going to home depot also to find a heavier screw to put on the bolt like the gold bolt for the rx.
