Background information:

Hello, I have recently bought a DM8 from a user here on PbN. During the transaction, the buyer told me that the membrane pad was missing, and that he would include a Stiffi tip with the DM8. I assumed that the Stiffi tip was compensation for the missing membrane pad. The marker was pictured with a full UL barrel and did not have a disclaimer saying that anything in the photo would not be included. I received the DM8, but it did not include the UL tip as pictured. Before I could get a screen shot, the user removed the photo from his/her B/S/T thread. I have made efforts to contact the user in an effort to work out the disparity and receive my UL tip, with no success. I have saved all of the PM's between the two of us.

Question: Do I have a leg to stand on? Is the fact that I do not have a screen shot my kryptonite? I am hesitant to leave bad feedback as I do not want him/her to leave me retaliatory feedback and ruin my reputation. I am prepared to answer any other questions the moderators may have, and also provide screen shots of the PM's if neccessary. If I leave feedback do I have an argument that will allow PbN to protect me from retaliatory feedback? I also understand that you may need to see my PM's before answering my question.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you never got an exact list of what you were buying. This sounds more like poor communication on both sides than a bad deal. Now, if he specifically told you something was included and then admits he didn't ship it, that's different.
