HELP!!! Eye cover screw isn't long enough
I picked up a used NXT shocker and it came w/ pretty stripped eye cover screws. After removing them and replacing them w/ ones from a rebuild kit I noticed that one of the eye cover screws wouldn't screw in. Come to find the screw isn't long enough to reach the threads through the eye into the body, it's not like they're stripped or anything because when I take the screw out and thread it in normally, it fits like a glove.
Maybe a few threads stripped bare and the replacement screw isn't long enough to grab, that's my guess. If so, does anyone know a store where i could pick up an identical screw in a longer size. PLEASE help!!!!
