^^I agree with the above. I dont think they come in chrome. You could polish up the outside of the Stainless Steel ones to look like chrome though.

FYI---I did a quick google search and found that ANS Gear has them for $69.95. Seriously, Google is your friend. Search for "Stainless steel freak back"

^^^ He said not looking for those.

What you are looking for, as far as I'm aware, does not exist.

I've found one in my local proshop, but I believe they are only made in ion/impulse threads. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's the only one I've seen in person. I was looking for this myself and in the end I just went out and bought a WWA chrome freak back.

FYI--If you read what i posted, you would've known that the stainless steel freak back you found on ansgear is NOT the one i've been looking for. =)

i thought if i mentioned what i was not looking and even posted a pic links up, it avoid confusion. i guess not.....

anyways,i was afraid i was gonna have to diy it myself if i wanted to get the chrome. oh wells.

thanks for the input though guys.

edit: you are very correct shadowoffox032. they do exist, so far, i have only found them in ion threads though. =(

If you all read the first part of my post, you can always get the back you want and polish it up to look like Chrome.

Oh, you can also do like I suggested and do the Google thing.

I havent polished those backs yet but really want to. I have polished the freak jr front tho. I cut off the tip with a pipe cutter (to make it a 10") and polished that down. I used 220 sand paper to get off the anno quickly. Then I used 330 to get rid of the scratches. Then I just sat there and used a dremel with a wirewheel to take off all the imperfections. Then i took some turtle rubbing compound and threw it on there. I flipped an orbital buffer upside down and used the bottom to get a smooth look. that took a few hours. Then I put polishing compound on it and polished it up until it was nice and chrome-like. Keep in mind i didnt touch the threads or the inside of the barrel. If you look at the threads it is still black as well as the inside of the barrel! your better off doing the same with all things that your polishing.

hope this helps!
