HPR and LPR move off when set couple of days later ..?

Do you guys ever notice that both the HPR and LPR move off when set couple of days later.

For example I set the LPR to 70 with the pressure tester than 3 days later I check it, it is at 50.

The same for HPR reg, I set at 210 and 2-3 days later when air up for test check it is 200.

Anybody experience this and is this normal?

Put some blue locktite on the set screw, that should help them from wiggling loose.

do you have the 300 psi gauge, or the 160? The 300 is too broad of a range to measure it accurately. gauges have a sweetspot in the middle 1/3 rd of the range, and can be off on the other parts.
My protege was all over the place even though i set it at 75 psi. I then used a 160 psi gauge, and it was at 53.
Try it with a 160 gauge and see what you're really set at.

Just be careful with a 160psi gauge. I had a 100psi on my lpr tester and the hpr air bypassed the lpr and blew the gauge.

Yeah i found a 160 psi guage and it works much better for LPR adjustments. I read somewhere you want the target pressure about halfway through the guages psi range, so a 160psi guage is money. I notice changes in pressure when i degas then regas my gun. There is some post where bobby mentions just leave your gun gased up all day to keep the regs in balance as degas/regasing can cause a change in the balance...........or something like that.
