I'm brand new to paintball and my friend just bought me the DP G3 SE, any advice?
I've been reading stuff and watching youtube vids to research the gun on how to use it, take care of it, blah blah. Anything I should know about just paintball in general or about this marker?
Good marker, period. Well liked by most. You can go to Dangerous Power's website and download the owners manual for maintenance procedures.

I wish I had the money to shoot enough paint for it to matter whether or not i had friends who would buy me a marker like that...

anyway, from what I've heard, it's a pretty good marker. I recommend getting a really good mask, but if you've watched the vids you might know that already...

yes and no. how the shoot a paintball the hammer/valve system are different between both markers. on some markers you pay $$ for name. with markers it comes down to how they feel in your hand. on your new g3 pick up a marker bag or use the box and tote or gear bag. pb marker anno is easily scratched off and players here will tell you there been more then one time when marker been dropped or step on and the feed neck gets bent or snaps off. on your hpa tank pick up a nipple cover and tank cover. dirt will kill a fill nipple and end a day of paintball. a carbon fiber tank if you slide over dirt and have no cover you can cut the tank cf fibers and cause the tank not to pass rehydro when it comes up for retest.

Just check the dp forum here or their website for the manual. Just make sure to keep the gun clean, orings in good shape, lubed etc etc and you'll be fine. oh and make sure you use HPA and not co2. im sure you know this but just in case.
yea man you got a great gun. If you take care of it, it will serve you well. If you have any questions or problems swing by your local paintball shop and check out if the carry DP products(which im assuming they do) the guys at the proshop should have no issue helping you out with any of the questions you've got either..This site is awesome for info,dont get me wrong.Just sometimes it's good to have someone walk you through the steps hands on.

Uhm they your teamies do say there is something jamming the i-mods dont they? you have to move on and eventually destroy the thing that is jamming your weapon.

has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.
I have the same marker. Any upgrades to get would be new macro fittings, the stock ones are a huge pain, and probably later on would be the TechT Engine.
