cocker is like burping when i shoot

my cocker sounds like its burping when it shoots. i know its a simple fix but i cant for the life of me remember what it could be. its a pump by the way, and when i hold the pump handle forward firmly it burps everytime. and when i do not hold it at all and just fire, mostly it sounds normal, but thats the only way. is my timing just off a tad

Sounds like the lug is not down far enough and not catching the sear.

it farting. did you sweet spot your reg? if you did, need to re spring it.

once i can get to a chrono i will adjust my lug
and my inline may need to be re-sprung(as in re-seat the spring)

ill try both of those things as soon as i can

Before you adjust the lug, make sure it's not just a loose cocking rod...that will make it 'burp' as well.
