***PROBLEM SOLVED*** IT WAS A BAD 017 ON THE TOPHAT. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
I have a dm7 that was shooting fine two days ago, now upon airing it up, the bolt slams forward and it will not cycle. The board is clicking, but the bolt does not move, the solenoid doesn't appear to be clicking.
I changed all the o-rings on the bolt, but no change. There are no leaks, it holds air fine, but will not cycle or even budge when the trigger is pulled. I'm pretty DM-literate, but I've never seen this happen.
specs:
Stock bolt
Tadao board
Dwell is 25
LPR and HPR at stock
Brand new battery
Slick honey, fresh on bolt
When I push the bolt back with my finger in the breach it slams forward with a sound similar to the marker cycling normally. I checked the noid wires, they look fine. The gasket is good, and everything is very clean.

I rebuilt the entire bolt, and I have not disassembled the solenoid. I removed the solenoid to clean and relube the gasket/eye wires because I broke a ball in my loader and it fed sludge into the breach and down the eye wire tunnel.
there are no leaks. I am hesitant to lube the lpr/hpr because it was fine until i cleaned the bolt/solenoid/breach areas, and never so much as adjusted the hpr/lpr at any point between the last time it worked and now.
If the LPR is too low it tends to do that Try turning the LPR tp Turning it counter clockwise and it might just pop back for you count your turns so if that does not work you can put it back to where it was.
Also, try lowering your hyper 2 ALL THE WAY DOWN, then build up pressure slowly. keep pushing bolt back. shoot it with low pressure first for a couple of times then keep building up until it reaches 300fps or whatever u feel/play at. Keep your LPR at stock rotations while doing this. A friend of mine had this same problem and we solved it like this. Also, he was overdoing the lube so consider putting a bit of less lube on your bolt. I don't see the point of putting so much lube on your bolt if you lube it EVERY weekend. I just lube my bolt to where all the orings look wet. Have never had any bolt stick issues. Have you always shot your marker with Dwell at 25??? Why?Consider lowering that too while doing this test (Just like KingJester68 said) Good luck!
as far as i remember the tadao boards were normal dwell with dm's but i could b wrong.. a quick look at the manual should b able to tell u. but 25 if it does go by stock increments is way to high. max of 21 on dm's...
in a typical situation the reason the bolt slams forward. and has alot of pressure behind it if u try to push it back. but doesn't leak. is the back half of the bolt. so somewhere on ur bolt is the problem. id replace all the black outer orings again. as well as the top hat orings.
Use a name brand battery, set the dwell to 18 ms, LPR at 75 psi (I believe that's 5 turns out on the DM7), generously lube your bolt & bolt o-rings.
I've always used Dow 33/Sleek on my DM & it always works well.

change your can o-rings...im currently experiencing the same problem with my dm8... although mine didnt slam forward upon airing up...mine stayed forward after a few shots with lead me to beleive the pressure from the noid was bypassing the oring and getting into the other holes...
right on, I fixed it! Thanks to everyone for all of your help. Basically the 017 on the tophat was just a fat oring out of the bag. I changed it and reset the lpr, good to go.
bunkerd86- no that is not what was happening.. when he air'd the gun up it bolt goes forward. with no leaks. and is extremely hard to push back. and if u do push it back the second u take ur finger off it. it slams forward again.
like i posted and others. its from an oring not sealing towards the back of the bolt and letting the air push the bolt forward.
sadomantra- make sure u adjust that 25dwell.. no dm should b higher then 21. and 21 is for winter and/or super brittle paint.
