Matrix solinoid leak!! Help!!!

well i have a proto pm8.I know its not a dye but they are similar and this thread is more active.

When i air it up it sounds like it is leaking badly from the solinoid area, or grip frame. If i put my finger over the seem between the body and ul frame, the hissing sound changes, but i cant feel air coming out anywhere. The gun still cycles shoots and chronos fine. In the stickys it says that the beercan, tophat and center (of the group of 3) orings on the bolt can cause this. I changed all 3 w/ no results.

All suggestions appreciated.

rechange the center bolt oring, outer beer can orings, and outer and inner top hat orings. lube them with dow33.

air the gun up and dryfire a couple of shots.
that should fix it. sometimes the lube just needs to be worked around a bit before the orings can make a proper seal.

99% of the time, the infamous "noid leak" isnt coming from the noid.

if replacing and lubing the orings doesnt work, i would next try doing some LPR maintenance.

if i remember correctly, if somehow the lpr housing orings go bad, then the resulting leak could make it seem like a noid leak. someone correct me if im wrong.

the only other thing id try, would be to take your grip frame off the gun, and air the gun up and see where the leak is coming from. the only other thing that i can think of, other than the lpr, would be the screw underneath the LPR. sometimes that screw can develop a leak. if so, just get some blue loc-tite and put it on the threads. thats the only other thing that comes to mind other than an actual problem with the noid.
what are you settings?
