How do you Double Strap an I4? (KM/JT/butterflyended)

So i was told by many people and heard and saw many times on the nation of people who "double strap" their i4s. I went ahead and purchased the KM cow strap. Now i dont see any phisycal possibility of fitting the butterfly end of the KM strap into the small gap between the clip and stock strap...

Maybe im approaching the whole process incorrectly but this is why i am asking for help at this point!
So how do i "double strap" because i DONT want to cut the stock strap.

you will have to fit it in that clip. It's a pain, but it IS possible. I recommend getting the clips off the mask to do it, obviously. The way I've done it is by first pulling on the stock strap (which stretches that area...and stretching that area = making the strap slightly thinner there), then you push a corner of the butterfly end of the km/jt strap in the clip. Once the corner is in, you are good....just pull on that corner and get the rest in. Hope you can understand what I'm saying. Good luck!

alright thanks for the help, i will go wrestle my mask to the ground (that could be taken wrong). ill let you know how it goes!

that's about how it was with my i3s. using something like a butterknife will probably help, too.

alright it worked... Thanks guys for your help

-----> now i am starting a new thread to ask if washing the clips and soft ears is ok because this process of double strapping could get old and i want to wash the strap after every usage because i like my white and black cow strap to look nice. Can i just throw the whole thing including clips and soft ears in the washer delicate? Washing the soft ears wouldnt be a bad idea either
