So i was listening to my iTunes on my laptop when my laptop ran out of battery. The speakers now won't work. Checked the settings/volume level/ etc. Any ideas or advice? Thanks.

go into system and device manager and see if you did not damage the sound card drivers. if windows wave sound does not play or a cd then your missing the device driver for the sound card. all you needdo to fix it is download the driver for the sound chipset from the laptop vendor web site.
