Nice to know that LSU fans have finally embraced this fact.

I'd take urban over saban. Equal in recruiting, urban develops talent better.

Kolder, lets make a bet for the next thread. If Texas beats Baylor, we close down this thread and I get to name the next one. If Baylor wins, we close down this thread and you can name the next one.

The #1 recruit in Louisiana, Trovon Reed, has officially committed to Auburn.

We got the #1 recruit from Arkansas, Louisiana (way to go Les!), and Mississippi.

Trovon doesn't really fit our style at WR.

He'd be the shortest receiver on our team by like 4 inches if he came. He's a great prospect and will prob fit right in at the barn but it's not the end of the world for LSU.

given the talent in LA this year Miles is ****ing owning right now on the recruitment side.

I'm still pissed off any time we miss out on the #1 recruit in our state. We should be winning that recruiting battle every time.

Meh, Yea it sucks but I mean, there just wasn't much reason for Reed to come here.

He wants play time and he won't get that for a year or two over here whereas auburn is so thin that he could be playing in AU's opener next season. He also fits their system better than ours.

It sucks that we lost him, but if we lost randle last year it would have been 92834792347237 times worse than this.

The top 3 players in LA HS football are juniors and we already have one of them committed for next year.

Really? If anything, Saban develops talent better. Look at how much talent he's put in the league. And Saban is a better recruiter.

I would agree with Saban producing better talent.

Saban produces more NFL players, but that's not your job as a college football coach; it's to win games in college and develop players that will help you do that.

That said, I'd say Saban and Meyer are pretty equal with these parameters.

Urban does the most with recruits. Saban gets better overall talent but doesn't turn them into superstars like Urban does.
