New pump first impressions

Just picked up an Outcast Body/Shocktech frame pump. Threw my 68ci 4500psi tank (overkill, i know) on it and went to try it out. Heres some things i realized:
Accurate: don't know if it's mental, the reg, whatever, or the fact that you take better aim, knowing your shot needs to count.
Fast: able to shoot way faster than i imagined.
Double feeding:...Prob. not the best idea, but its fun to load two in and see two shots hit your target (just look like they don't go as fast as a single shot).
Nicer on paint: I used half of a 500 bag that was opened about 3 months ago and left in the closet, I had one break out of about 250 shots (and yeah, it was when i was screwin around shooting 2 at a time ).
Now comes the ultimate noob question, a co2 tank is smaller and more stock like, which i like. but i know the hpa tank isn't gonna freeze up the gun and i'll have more shots, where do you guys stand on this one? stick with the 9oz. co2 that I bought to put on the gun, or make it bigger and heavier with the 68/4500 tank? Also, what do you guys suggest for a replacement bolt (the stock one looks heavy and boring! Thanks for any tips, sorry my first post in here is a long one, guess im just excited.
Thanks again!

I highlighted your correct guess for accuracy.

I can tell you that you don't want that beavertail... You should take it off and send it to me.

As for your question. I don't think there's going to be much of a weight difference between the 2. I'd stick with the 68/45 myself. If you really want smaller you can get a 13/30, but you'd get next to no shots out of it.

Theres a significant weight difference between my 45/45 and 12oz tank. I usually run HPA though since I get better consistency which leads to better accuracy.

c02 works just fine. Your not going to "freeze up the gun". The only negative that can happen is you o'rings may wear out faster and you consistency will not be quite as good. But c02 on a sniper is really not as bad as allot of people think it is.

So picking up something like a 45/45 wouldn't be overkill? most i'd be carrying into a game is 600 rounds. Do you think my 9oz would do that or would it empty out first, and also, would a 45/45 last that many rounds? Sorry for being a pain in the ***. I looked into the other threads, but i guess i need more specific answers. Thanks again!

600 rounds is soo overkill, thats like a day of paint if I'm playing without a/t. I use a 70/45 because its the right size for my setup, if I went to something shorter I'd have to flip my rail around and use a bigger piece of macro line.

This, except your o-rings won't wear out and your consistency will be fine.

The only o-ring that might go is the tank o-ring if you have the tank pointing down while unscrewing, and don't purge the gun or have an on/off asa.

You're running the CO2 through a regulator so consistency will be fine. I've only had problems with velocity on unregged guns, where temp makes them swing up and down through the day.

If you want a bigger tank than the 9 oz. for cheap and be HPA get a 48/3k steely or something like that..

the 45/45 would be a perfect setup for your gun. you will love it.

the co2 will work of course so if getting HPA is a problem in your area or at your field then stay with the co2 9oz. but depending on the elements at hand you can freeze up your gun with co2.

if you can afford the HPA setup go for it.

dont you think he might come close to hitting himself in the back block with it that tight? I'm thinking of flipping my OOPS around to lengthen my setup with my 70/45 boobie cause right now the cocking rod just barely touches my nose on my flexes if I tip my head forward a tiny bit.

my 48/45 is really short and i hit my mask all the time with my cocking rod. i took the rubber fill nipple cover that comes stock on ninja regs and put it on the end of the cocking rod. now my mask doesnt get scratched up as much. i hate running beaver tails. guess i should have got a 48/45 with the longer profile for more of a stock feel.

I'm an idiot, I have a brand new white Invert tank (carleton), it's a little 56ci/4500, and using a direct mount cp on/off asa. def. liking this setup better.
Thanks for all the help!

Leafy, you're a funny dude. I'm always up your way in Millbury. You gonna be at the Canobie game? You can show me how to dominate with a pump over the kids.

I consistently get 190 shots out of my Catalina 13/3000. Using a palmer'd 32* cocker
