Getting an Ion tourney ready (ie locals)

I was curious to see how people go about getting their ions set up for tourneys or fields that have a bps reg. such as 13bps limit? Primarily for the people with stock boards. I know how to decrease/increase cycling rate on the marker, I'm just wondering if there is anything special the fields do as in something like tourney locks. My era goes back to when the mechanicals with external velocity adj. they would have to put the caps with setscrews to lock them out. Just trying to get into the now, Thanks

You may have to use a tourney cap on the velocity adjuster. According to the manual (yes it actually is in the manual), some refs will argue that a strong person will be able to turn it with their bare hands. Other than that, Bob's got it.

Some places cap your rate of fire even in semi, make sure you know how to cap your marker (Dwell and ROF).

Hey Dust, where are you at in Indiana? I live in NWI, so if your close and go to one of the local fields here, I could help you out with all that you need.
