Think the SFT is "old school" now?

The impulse is, and technically the SFT is out of production, think it is "old school" yet or do people still consider it a modern gun.

The shocker will never be old school as long as it's popularity stays wher it's at, I don't see it going anywhere

the one thing that gets to me is that there seems to be less sft parts on sale at the b/s/t thread lately..

not that you need to be constantly changing the parts...and the sft will last as long as we can get o-rings fro our LHS!!

people are still coming out with new and inovative products that work directly with the SFTs firing assembly so i'm in agreement with everyone else here that no, the SFT is not kicking it old school yet.

Well, some people consider the 2k2 timmy old school, and it is compatible with a lot of 2k5 parts.

(I just have an old gun and want to feel special )

i think since the nxt is still in production and most of the parts are interchangeable, then the sft isn't old school at all.

why don't you just do come custom work to it? then it's no longer old; it's personalized, has character, and truly is special.

Actually, I am selling it now. I can't afford to take out the shocker and shoot 2,000 rounds. I am going to sell all of my high end stuff.(hopper, pod pack, tank, gun, everything) and go with something small.

I was thinking an ariakon overlord, then add a CCI stock, and a 10'' barrel. Make it basically a semi auto but in the stock class league. I love paintballing, but spending $100 a day is far too much.

Not trying to criticize you, but no one forces you to pull the trigger so much. If you can't hit the guy with 2 or 3 shots you aren't likely to do it with 10 to 20. Its very possible to play an almost stock class type game with an electronic gun.

I would consider a 03 shocker to be on the line of becoming old school if it is stock because its proformance out of the box as a completely stock 03 shocker sft would not compair to any new gun today except in the recoil category, which it could still compete in. But an upp'ed sft can compete with any thing out there.

I really fail to see what 'now days guns' can do that any older gun can't... or do they all not shoot paint in the direction which you point.

i'm pretty sure each weekly release of the ego has a "baby seeking" feature that directs the paintball (in mid flight mind you) towards newborns. I'm not sure what it's used for, but ego players can use all the help they can get.
