Grillz: a soundproof shield for your face?

I have noticed when I am playing, sometimes my teammates cannot hear me yelling. Likewise, I cannot always hear them. Sometimes it is just lacking field awareness, other times it is too much noise and other factors. I was just wondering if anyone has found the Grillz to keep your voice in, and other voices out, are any other masks (I4s in particular) better about this?

Actually I find the grill to be a very good mask for communication and breathability (SP).

As for hearing, I don't have an issue.

I agree.....I have a set of Grills, i4's, Flex's, eVents and a Save Phace and I find that I use the Grills the most. I have no problems with hearing and teammates dont have a problem hearing me.

In fact, my whole team are moving to Grills next season.

I find that Flex's help me talk but not hear, because of the soft ears I hear my gun shooting more than I hear people talking.

Never had that problem when i had a Grill.

The only mask i had problems hearing/yelling was with E-Vents - my voice just bounced inside the mask right back to me.

I think Flexs and I4s are the best in terms of communication. Grillz aren't bad by any means though.

Do I4s trap heat? I would think Events and hard framed masks would

events do get hot on the inside and form condensation, i4's havn't for me, and they def project your voice well. A lot of the people I play with use grills and i havn't had any problems hearing them

no mask can beat the a JT Flex for sounds and breathing. I own 14s, grills, events, and flexs and all of the others just echo inside - I have no problems hearing, or breathing, but I can hear my own voice when talking and my team mates have said they can't hear me worth a darn unless I'm wearing my flexs.
