Marbs have always run small and they've gotten progressively smaller. I'd go for a small bore barrel. Something between .679 and .682.

Whenever I use my Mini (which I assume this is what you are using), I always overbore, I use a .689 CP 1 piece. But all my other guns I shoot I underbore, mainly because I have to since they are closed bolt. And for those I use .679.
So it all depends what you want to do, overbore or under bore. It seems you want to bore match which is the worst thing you can do. Just either get a .679/.680 to underbore or a .689 to over bore.
Because on a closed bolt gun, the ball sits in front of the detents and will rollout if the barrel is bigger than the paint.
What!? No it doesn't. Then what would be the point of detents. I have a closed bolt gun and the detents are in front of the ball and the barrel was bigger than the ball and it definitely didn't role out. Can you get me a pictures of a closed bolt gun in which the ball sits in front of the detents?

Nice avvy BTW
What "closed bolt" gun do you have? Because I guarantee its not a true closed-bolt.
If you are referring to "closed-bolt" as a gun where you cant see the bolt reciprocating (i.e. Shocker, Ion, Matrices, Mini, Geo, etc etc) you are terribly wrong. Closed bolt means the bolt is in the forward position before firing. When the bolt is in the forward position the ball is pushed past the detent, into the barrel. The detent's sole purpose is to prevent doublefeeds.

Then you don't have a closed bolt gun.

I know it's been said twice but I feel it's necessary to drive this point home.

iPaintYou - Not to belabor the point, but the term you were looking for was "enclosed bolt", not closed bolt. The difference has already been explained.
I see. I was terribly wrong. I was thinking that a closed bolt was just a gun where you couldn't see the bolt. My bad. You learn something every day. Thanks for explaining and not flaming. What are some examples of closed bolt guns then?
And to keep things on topic bmorepaintball, just get a barrel kit with the smallest bore you can find and you're set.

AKA Excals are closed bolt, cockers like mentioned
Anything that pumps is going to be closed bolt so S6, T2, etc. Even things like a pump mag or pump spyder changed the dynamic a bit from their open bolt normal layout to a closed bolt in a funky way
