High-res Paintball Photos

Hey, thought there used to be a paintball photography forum, but I can't find it. I'm running my pc right now on a 40" something monitor, and I was wondering where I can find ridiculously high res paintball photos. I was going to set it as my background since its pretty much a digital poster.

I am not sure where the photography forum is, but you can see the majority of the paintball photographers posting on this thread: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...+photo graphy

Hope that gets you in the right direction.

Its not a monitor. Its a TV. There is a HUGE difference.

Providing its 1080p the highest res photo that will do you any good is 1920×1080, which is about 2.3MP. Most cell phones could take a picture that would work for you.
It will always look like crap, just so you know. There just isn't enough pixels on the TV.

Megapixels mean nothing...

You need a picture taken from a DSLR with a good lense.

lol.

<---- Published Professional Photographer (not for paintball though)

My mega pixel reference was because he was asking for high res. But his tv will not display a 6048 x 4032 picture from my D3X any sharper then a 1920x1080 picture taken with my 10 year old D100.

Its not the camera or the lens that makes a photograph, its the person behind it.

He does not need a high res photo by any stretch of the word.

And yet you were referring to a 2.3 megapixel cell-phone camera producing anything of value... my point was that it needs to be taken from a decent camera if it's something you actually want to put on your background.

I think what you were trying to say was that because his TV is only 1920 x 1080, you don't need anything higher then that. But to most people 2mp (about 1080p) is high-resolution.

Heh, I still got a D100 ... 180mm 2.8 for paintball, although I really don't use it that much which is why I haven't invested in anything better.
