alright so my friend got a free spyder pilot with an ACS logo on it. i dont know much about spyders since all ive worked on were autocockers and he just dropped his spyder off to see if i could check and make sure everythring is fine and ready for this sunday. well i gassed it up with compressed air and right away the ASA started leaking.....i thought it was a little funny but figured that itd still be able to shoot, so i cock it back and turn the trigger on, set it on semi and shoot, than it makes a farting noise and wont cock back, i have to manually cock it and it still does the farting noise, could it be that it needs a new battery? since the led screen on it has a battery icon lit up on red and i cant change the fire rate, itll just stay at semi auto. also does this type of gun only run on CO2? maybe thatd explain the ASA leaking? if not can someone give some ideas? never ran into this problem with cockers, thanks in advance

lube the tank threads if thats where its leaking from

its not getting air. or its put together wrong
since the led screen on it has a battery icon lit up on red and i cant change the fire rate, itll just stay at semi auto.
it may need a jumper if it wont change modes

no
if not can someone give some ideas? never ran into this problem with cockers, thanks in advance
alright thanks man ill see what else i can do with this than since i already lubed up the tank threads and it still leaked, leaked less but still leaked. and still burped. i might have to take it in to the shop tomorrow and see if they could help me out with this

lube goes on o-rings not threads. the o-rings are the parts that need lubing. lubing the threads only help make unscrewing easier but it's the o-ring that holds a seal.
and once you stopped the asa leak there will be more air going into the gun, so hopefully your farting problem will stop too.
nice, i was looking for some kind of disassembly guide on the gun, thanks

thanks to everyone here. i fiexed the gun, the farting sound was coming from no paintball being chambered so that was simple lol, the leak though was really bad i had to take it apart and i couldnt find anything wrong so i just tightened the hose and reconnected the ASA and just put it on real tight so i didnt really need the dissassembly but its good to know hwo to disassemble it anyways just incase i need it in the future
