Min field size?

I really should know this. First some background, I have come up wiht the concept of a portable paintball arena and found the source on some. The idea will be a "bring paintball to you" type thing for birthday parties, etc. Because it is enclosed on all sides I don't have to worry about balls flying over the netting. The price difference between 60x30 and 80X80 is substantial. I am actually half toying with the idea of using .43 Kingmans (though am likely to abandon this for better availability / quality of 68s). Part of me says that 60X30 (1800 SF) is simply too small. The intent is to make this fairly bunker rich and limit it to 3 vs 3.

Is 60X30 simply too small?>

Sure sounds to small to me.

"Official" 3-man is considered 50 X 100.

Granted working with private parties and not "competitive play" will give you some flexibility but I just don't see 30 x 60 being fun for anyone.

Anything smaller than a 3man is just a target range or 1v1. Not really worth the set up for a party of 20(were u can make money). If your gona do portable everything needs to b portable & I mean everything (compressor, big enough generator, carts, dollies, trailer etc.) show up for a job & there’s no power & u can’t get the trailer were u want & got 2 carry everything out behind the barn 300 feet away. Do your homework is all I got to say & u better love paintball cause not every job is going to make u $$

Type in portable paintball on Google search & see who’s on top
Not many companies actually do a true portable setup they funnel the work to there permanent field location.
