Why haven't they ever made a pump gun in which the trigger itself pulls the bolt back and releasing it brings the bolt forward to fire the gun? It would be a long trigger pull, but wouldn't it simplify things? Does such a marker exist?
sounded to me like you were talking about a gun that you just pumped it and it would shoot , i have a splat master rapid or what ever its called and i think thats like what your talking about now, its a really long trigger pull, the og splaty's were a pump kinda sorta push a button to cock it
sounds kinda like when you slam the lever forward really hard on a winchester rifle.
...or use an e grip, remove the trigger spring, and cock the gun

Did you pass?
Have a broken gun? pm me
You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there... your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth.. live it.. love it..
the splatmaster rapide. the first part of the trigger pull "pumps" the bolt, then the second part of the trigger pull fires the gun. they had very heavy trigger springing, so the pull was quite hard. not really a pump, but more of a double action
and to the OP that would not be a pump, it would be an archaic (SP?) semi.
so the reason no one has made a pump without a pump handle that shoot on every trigger pull is the same reason no one has bred a dog that has tusks, 2 large ears, is nearly hairless and grey, and weighs in at around 2 tons.
