Microsoft Security Essentials

Sorry if I'm kinda late to the party on this, but has anyone tried it out? My Computer Maintenance/Networking teacher told us about it today and said he liked it, so i figured I'd try it out.

I was using Avast! Home Edition, the free verion. or whatever its called. I really dont know what makes one antivirus program better than another, but I just figured its free so **** it, might as well.

I guess 2 AV programs > 1? haha

and if this has already been discussed or if this belongs in a different thread, i apologize

Not necessarily true since they may interfere with each other. I'm also interested in MSE, but havn't wanted to try it myself.

2 is not better than one.

I've heard good things about MSE. Haven't tried it, though.

I use it. It's a little heavier than Avast but I don't notice it at all.
