Check the regulator pressure. Mine was at like 300psi then after turning it down to like 200psi it was quieter.

I used Eda's method for tuning my RX for consistency, HPR at 180PSI, and LPR until proper velocity is reached (was about 3/4 turn past flush for me). Since I've yet to find an LPR tester for it I have no idea what it's at on mine, but I'm guessing around 50-60PSI.

Call MacDev USA for warranty and repairs.

If you dont have a way to test hpr, just zero hpr, bring hpr flush and then slowly raise hpr until desired velocity is achieved. While in tech training this was one of the biggest problems I saw, many unbalanced reg's. But its a real easy fix.

This is similar to the method I use but I start with the LPR out 1/2 turn. Slowly increase HPR to reach velocity. If increasing HPR stops increasing velocity, increase LPR by 1/4 turn and continue increasing HPR.

With stock bolt my LPR generally ends up flush to 1/2 turn in and with the gold bolt flush to 1/2 turn out. Works great.

if you don't want to mess with it and you want it check out, you could send it to MacDev USA in Miami or myself (Minnesota) as well. Bourke should have my info up on the site here soon.
