I personally wouldn't consider the serial number of any mass produced gun to be 'rare' unless it was like.. way under 100

Its not rare because its an orracle man. Just because of an anodizing doesnt make it rare.

Hmm... I don't remember ever having seen a stock purple Orracle before, but I have no doubt it could have been a factory color.

mine is a dark purple to blue fade orry. and those were probably the most common orracles. the serial number is 3873. i think there more orrys then karnivors so its probably the most mass produced high end cocker

Alright... it wasn't really high-end... almost nothing from WGP can be considered that...

At one time orracles were "highend". i personally still think cockers are, that is if you know what your doing with one, so there a little chubby, but i think anybody that needs a gun under 2 pounds to play and something that doesnt need tuning needs to hit the gym and get some brains.

I would rather shoot my DC2 than any DM5000 or any Mac dev star wars named gun.

Price-wise they were undoubtedly high-end, but I guess I feel like there were significantly better guns available in the same family. A matter of opinion, I suppose.

I think what determines it is any gun with an electronic solenoid is then considered to be "high-end".. wich the e-cockers had with the electronic 3ways

Then as mechs, i think they would still be labled as high-end since they had the mechanical 3way, and operated in a more complex or efficient way then other mechs of the time.
Along with being made of higher quality materiel compared to lower end guns..

They were still a bit sloppy to me. Those frames and that 3-way are awful.

I hate Orracle front blocks - it so ruins the lines of the gun (which is why it's not one of my favorite wgp bodies). I love how my Orracle shoots as a mechanical but by next season it will have a CCM 86 frame and pump so I can like the body again.

For that kind of money I'd even sell mine.

Yes - as per the OP - serial numbers.
