Getting a Blitz Droid

Will get to see my new blitz droid tomorrow, and I never shot a nice droid before, so I was wondering what I should be looking out for. Droid came from Edda so I know it should be shooting sweet,.. but I just like to know what to look out for in terms of maintenance and trouble shooting.

Cheers

I believe the blitzs come with the filtered RX reg which is really nice. Biggest problem that droids have is overpressurization so make sure that the reg seat and piston are clean and free of debris. The filtered reg helps a great deal.

In my experience spoolies in generally perform best if you lube em ever 4-5 cases (lube the internals lightly and the reg somewhat heavily) and replace the moving orings after every 6 months of heavy use but your mileage may vary. Many folks do less.

Basically it's a killer gun! Only ups would be a trigger if you don't like the stock or an OLED board if you want a screen.

mate I've shot Edda's droid at training and during tourneys and you will not have a problem with it at all. I always thought my Droids shot nice.....his is the best I've shot.

Thanks Souse... yeah, had a quick shot with it yesterday, and it was shooting great... I thought my DM7 was shooting smooth, but this was better than I expected...

However, due to user error, I have misplaced an Oring... so now in process of getting a new oring kit.... >.<

Pitty I have to sell this baby though

not sure what version the valve will be, the old ones can crack after about 75 cases or more

I had never seen (in person), held or shot one when I ordered mine, I just knew I would like it and I did

I agree.... I tried some older unserviced stock droid before, and they shot pretty average compare to my DM7... but when I shot this one, it felt alot smoother and quieter...

I like to tinker with my markers, so even if its a daily clean and relube, I dont mind doing it... its a ritual for me to have a shower after a day of playing, then a beer on one side and me cleaning my marker on the other
