Feedback Question's

A deal between me and claery went down roughly one month ago were i traded my 16 gig itouch for his 30 gig ipod video the deal went fine both ipods were shipped both recieved BOTH worked. We leave positive feedback.. then he decideds to jailbreak it create some new problems with it and try and pin it on me.. some one month after the fact we are still debating this..

Really what im trying to figure out is why did a mod delete are previous feedback when it was correct?

I thought Feedback could only be left once for the same deal?

I also thought feedback if changed could only be changed in one direction if at all?

Why was both of our feedback removed if only one requested it?

Why was i not informed of all of what was going on?

How do i get this removed?

I have pm's from where i asked john these questions he gave me the answer's i was hoping for and yet the feedback is still gone feedback was left again for both of us and now i have a negative feedback screwing up my account for no reason at all. John also mention to me that moderators generally do not remove feedback unless it breaks the rules or it leads to the incorrect thread

Disclaimer: i know moderators have no way of mediating the deal or knowing what really happened but the deal is not the problem the problem is that honestly in my eyes i think the mod who removed it broke some of their own rules.

yes the feedback did and no one has given me a reason why it was deleted i just know a mod deleted it and now i have negative feedback which was first positive but yes ,the original feedback led to the correct thread

You two need to talk and work this out.

He says the item had problems that you were aware of (because you knew how to "fix" it) but that you failed to mention when making the trade.

This is between you two. Good luck working out a deal that is fair to both of you.

that does help you even pmed me and said previously that feedback could only be submitted once for a deal and that mods do not delete feedback unless it leads to the incorrect thread.. what i want to know is why then was our original feedback deleted 3 weeks after that..

I don't know. He might have presented a feedback mod with evidence showing you knew about a problem with the device but didn't indicate it in the thread. That would be my best guess.

Usually feedback is removed when it links to the wrong thread or is misleading.
