If you do end up shipping your guitar to someone, heres what you should do. I shipped my acoustic with case to canada for about $35. Nix a box. Its not needed and ends up making it too large, therefore more $ to ship it. Get a ton of bubble wrap. Go to furniture stores and ask them to save some for you. Then just take the bubble wrap and wrap the case (with everything inside, obviously) with about 3 layers of bubble wrap. Its just as safe as a box, and will cut down a ton on your shipping. Hope this helps if you have to ship it, and good luck getting a good trade!

No guarantees you wont get scammed. Just saying that if you have to ship a guitar, thats the way to do it. And yes, just wrap it all around the case with just the bubble wrap. Then tape a piece of paper to the front with the mailing and return address'.
