In case you missed it, formerly anti-war Maddow accusing DeMint of Treason
It's funny to see Maddow using the same arguments that Neo-con War-hawks were using against anti-war protesters during the Bush years, and accusing them of committing treason. Maddow, who was formerly anti-war, and anti-Bush on almost every front, is now embracing the tactics of Warhawk neo-cons, and accusing DeMint of committing treason for supporting the overthrow of the thoroughly-corrupt Honduras, which we discussed this summer. I don't know if Maddow is actually serious, or if she's towing the left-wing line or what, but saying a Senator is committing treason because he supports the right of the Honduran people to overthrow it's Government is a bit far-fetched.
And since I realize this thread will devolve into a debate about Honduras, what right does the United States Government have in declaring that the de facto Government isn't recognizable? Why should we have a say in something that the Honduran people wanted? It wasn't a military coup, it was the decision of the Honduran Congress and the Attorney General.
The real people committing treason are Senator Clinton, who denounces the actions of the Honduran people, and the members of our Government who also support Zelaya, who tried his hardest to undermine the Democracy of Honduras. It's questionable that elected leaders (Even our own President) would question the rights of the Honduran people to declare freedom from an oppressive ruler. Do we need a refresher course on what happened in this very country 250 years ago? The Left is being utterly hypocritical on this issue.

Maddow, uninformed... it wasn't the military that overthrew the government... it was the government (legislative and judicial branches) that used their governing documents to kick a dick out of office.
