The Biggest Sharade

The Bush Administration sold out America.

9/11, and The War on Terror that followed were just part of a giant business transaction. The Bush Administration sold out the country to the corporations and oil companies that are running the world from a grander scale. Yeah, sure, the U.S. was and still is (sorta) a world super power - The World's super power - but that's just one country; on a planet full of many countries, corporations, and populations. The United States of America (in terms of its society, economy, corporate scale and worldly reputation) was just a collection of pawns in a giant, global, game of chess.

They invested the country's economy in, and orchestrated, all the events of 9/11, and sunk a large chunk of the government spending into the military and keeping people happy. The U.S. military is a glorious thing; possessing technology mainstream society won't have for another 10 years (imagine the iPod, ten iPods from now) They built up the the best military they could, and probably most technologically evolved the world has seen to date, to get the job done. Society was manipulated into buying into (pun intended) the War on Terror, in addition to using fear mongering tactics, to keep themselves in control for as long as they could, while their operation (the war) was in progress. A phony "Mission Accomplished" ceremony was held on a spectacular naval ship to celebrate the capturing and inevitable doom of the dictator of the country they had just somewhat conquered. There's nothing left to do in Iraq to date, except to baby sit the shattered society left over from the war, while controlling their oil (W-M-what?)

The powers that be then seized control of the heroin in Afghanistan (which was one of the world's largest suppliers of heroine before the war, and probably the greatest in the world now; a change that took place during the early stages of the war and until present day, and has become a global heroine super power, so to speak), and seizing the oil in Iraq (it kinda pisses me off I'm paying all-time-record-high gas prices and oil companies are making all-time-record-high profits (perhaps they forsaw a coming recession and needed to stockpile?)).

You think the War on Terror has cost a lot of money? It's a pretty large number right? Have you heard that number? One TRILLION dollars. PEOPLE PROFITED OFF THAT. Imagine how much of the world's currency they seized; they're now incontrol of over a trillion dollars; people with secret power could do a lot with that kinda money (for example: seizing control (in a way) of an entire country for their own agenda).

The Bush Administration's 8 year run (lol) came to a gracious end; eventually they were too wrapped up in their own webs of lies and shady dealings while being ridiculed, criticized and mocked by all of the world media and even their own people to care anymore. And now, good ol' George Dubya is chillin' on his ranch reminiscing - or trying not to - about the whole ordeal. Two global monuments were leveled, thousands and thousands died, a man was shot in the face, an election was rigged, and a president took more vacation time than any other president in history; the reminiscing for everyone else goes on too.

It is awfully contradictory that we still wage the war on drugs, yet we gave up trying to police the poppy fields of afghanistan

We didn't "give up" on anything. The poppy field business in Afghanistan is booming; it's bigger than its ever been. People like heroine; and somebody took control of that as part of the deal.
