Red Raiders Announcements
I would like to take this opportunity to make a few team announcements.
Welcome New Members;
Having completed the requirements MarkKaz was inducted as our newest Red Raider in an informal ceremony following the West Point Fall game. Mark brings a ton of enthusiasm and skill to our team and is a welcome addition. Looking forward to running with you for many years to come Mark. Welcome aboard! We expect great things from you brother.
Promotions;
Joe Vadala promoted to Cpl. Well deserved Joe. And if you keep up your current pace of outstanding accomplishments on the field you will be seeing Sgt stripes very soon. Your dogged determination to do what the others say cannot be done inspires even me sometimes.
Shady33 promoted to SSGT. I cannot think of a better Staff Sgt than Bob. His contributions to the team go well beyond the field of play. His many years of service to our Country in both Airborne and Special Forces have shaped him into a fine gentleman not to mention a great paintball tactician. Congratulations Bob. Now go kick some more TOOCH.... lol
Scarecrow promoted to MSGT. This was an easy one. Early on we set rules that stated no NCO would be able to reach the rank of E-8 or above. Brandon smashed through that glass ceiling with his continuous dedication to his fellow teammates, the sport and to his family. Constant self-improvement both on and off the field and his willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job DONE. He attends more games annually than any other member of the team. And if anyone thinks this was nepotism, please check with our other Officers. I actually opposed it... sorry kid.. but I did, and I was proven wrong at West Point. GOOD show! I am proud of you. Now is your chance to prove me wrong again... See how much farther you can take it.
A special thank you.
There is one person on our team that keeps my head from breaking off during one of my tirades when things are not going to plan. (Thankfully that has not been too often lately.) This person is the Yin to my Yang and although we often butt heads the end result is always a good decision. Thank you so much for your years of putting up with me and your contributions to this team and the Alliance that often go unseen. Thank you War-Hammer for helping me shape this team into a fine, well respected group of friends that just happen to play a little paintball now and then. Hats off to you Patrick.
Now I'd better stop before somebody asks for my Bud Light... lol
