Event Posting Guidelines

I'm going to stage a little coup d'etat here and take over posting of Class AA events.

If your conference/team/etc. would like to host an event, you must e-mail me to confirm the event. All e-mails should go to jmrieger@mtu.edu . This step should take place so that we can make sure that adjacent conferences are not holding events too close to each other (geographically and chronologically).
Once your event has been CONFIRMED with myself and your chosen field, you must submit to me, IN E-MAIL, all of the following information:
  • Event Name
  • Conference
  • Event Start Date
  • Event End Date (if you're running a two day event)
  • Your name,e-mail, and phone number (for contact and spelling purposes)
  • Field name
  • Field Address,city,state,zip
  • Field website
  • A Google Maps URL for the field
  • Field contact's name and e-mail (for contact and spelling purposes)
  • The URL for the PBNation thread for the event (if no event thread, than the conference discussion thread)
  • Pricing information (Entry fees, cost of paint, any additional costs to be incurred at the event)
  • Maximum number of teams allowed at the event
  • How your post-preliminary rounds will be worked. I.E. if you're taking top 4 directly to finals, running a quarterfinals/semifinals/etc rounds.

Anything less than the above information, unless a reason is given why the info is missing, will NOT be posted. I will reply to your message if information is missing.

Once I have the above list, the information will be posted on APPA and I will post a signup link in the event thread, as well as e-mail it to the conference director.

Additionally, I will work with the conference directors if there is Internet available at your field. If that's the case, I will get you set up with an APPA login so that you can do live scoring, generate the waiver and scoresheet files, etc etc.

When your event is finished, you will then need to e-mail me the final placings. I will then update the NCPA rankings accordingly.
