connectivity issues out of nowhere

I've been running wireless in my house for the past few years, and even though my router sits on the bottom floor and my computer is on the third floor of my house, my connection has always been decent, with around 4 mpbs download and ~1.3 ish upload

recently, my internet started crashing, slowing down and just generally being ****ty

I checked speedtest and my download is now 2.1 mbps and upload hovering around .4
what could be the problem?

I'd direct connect to the modem first to rule out a hardware issue.

And like I said in the GDT, call India and have them reset your connection on their end. I always did that with cable/DSL customers and it usually did the trick.
