Talking "My Frankin Marker", a work in progress.

Well, i got bored so i built this little beauty out of spare parts i had stored away and forgot about, lol. Its basically an old Stingray with a VL grip, Tippmann bottom line adapter and a bunch of odd bolts hence the name "Frankin Marker". It took some tinkering to get the grip on it and
get the sear to work but wallah, it worked .
It was so corroded i wasn't even sure i could get it to hold air or even fire but after allot of cleaning and polishing of the internals it surprisingly did, and to my amazement it shoots verrrry accurately. I am having issues with it shooting one ball at a time sometimes though (like the hammer doesn't catch the sear and shoots 2 or 3) but i have gotten it down to mainly when its first gassed up after some filing on the sear and cutting down the spring, any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Remember, its just a throw together and a work in progress so don't go bashing on it, or me please!

Edit: After some more altering to the sear i think i got the multi-shot thing fixed.

Sorry for the crappy pics , but here it is The Frankin Marker .

I'm curious on how you attached the VL grip to the gun. Is it mounted to the plastic outer body, or did you drill and tap mounting holes on the inner metal body? A few closeup pictures would be nice.

I cut the rear mount on the body to make it thinner to be able to fit in the handle, then drilled a hole in the handle for the bolt to slide through. Then i drilled and tapped the front to go through the plastic into the internal housing. I also had to notch the body because of the way the sear pin is mounted in the handle. The handle stuck off the back about an inch so i cut that down flush with the back because it got in the way when screwing on the HPA tank i was using to test fire( then i found the bottom line ) that would have held the back plate i was thinking of making. I also dremeled the feedneck out to fit the 10 round tubes( didn't want to use a hopper ) with a sanding drum attachment.
I have some cleaning up to do on some of the cuts and get different bolts but i kinda want to keep the "Frankenstein" look, so when i take it out people will be like WTF and blow it off just before they get owned by it . I mean it is amazingly accurate for a $20 old *** gun.
I will post up some more pics later once i find the cord to my camera, cell phone pics really suck.
