I mean i don't really have a problem with lane splitting and i can't say that one day when i have a good bit of experience i won't do it.....but the speed he does it at makes me want to hold onto my ****ing chair and close my eyes.

I've got what appears to my untrained eye to be oil coming out between the cylinder head and cover. There's a gasket that goes there and I'm wondering if replacing that would resolve the issue. It's not a huge problem, but I'd like to fix it if reasonable. My other thought is that the bike sat for a long while before I got it so it may have just shrank and needs to swell back up again. Any advice?
I don't know a ton about bikes, but I'm trying to learn. I do have somone who's rebuilt multiple engines to help me out, so I won't screw anything up. That's the one really nice thing about older bikes. There's not near as much to screw up when I'm wrenching on it.

It might stop it. It might be leaking somewhere else too. It actually is a huge problem, as your bike can drop pressure when you are riding in high speeds and that is scary as hell.

I'll try to fix it as soon as possible. It's not a super huge amount of oil and I checked it after a 4 he ride and didn't have a noticeable amount of oil change when I checked it. It's not like I'm spewing all over the place. I just have a small bit on the outside of the cylinder heads. Although now that I think about it, I'll clean it up and see if any more comes out. I'm wonderin if me riding around may have sealed it back up. Yay for coming up withy own answer after asking for help, bear with me and my noobish tendencies.
