You honestly don't need to upgrade them bro. The VP triggers are VERY nice though.

But yeah, spend the money on some paint to wear it in (takes a few boxes)

Did you get a Shift Kit? makes the RX allot quieter for some reason.

Get a CP one piece in a larger bore: 691 and swap between stock and that.. No need to go out and get raped on a barrel kit.

Bolt and trigger are up to you

no one was selling shift kits for decent prices on the nation so I went and got a sly kit instead, people really expect way too much out of those kits, i offered $100 and he wouldnt take it

He said he was Canadian...Ive never, ever used paint that wasnt overbored in .689(largest paint Ive ever used was about .686-.687, fit well in .685 but had rollouts on my pump using .688), I generally use my .685 matchstick or something smaller with my freak

If that sucker is brand new, set the LPR 1/2 turn in from flush and chrono with the HPR. If your RX is new to you and already broken in, LPR to flush and chrono with the HPR. They take a long time to break in (20+ cases) but they shoot soooooooo nice once they do. How nice? Like a marq with the pre PE internals, but with the efficiency of the post PE internals. Think quiet, smooth and efficient.

Paint has been running tiny lately. The only up I'd suggest would be a barrel kit to accomodate this. I like the stock trigger fine, test it out and see if you do.

A flush LPR is when the screw is "even" with the housing, not screwed all the way in.

As said, if it is new it is best to chrono with the HPR and leave the LPR alone for now.

For the third time... flush means the screw is even with the LPR body. All the way in = bad things

You can also get the Tadao flash for the board but you will have to send in the board to get it ($35US + shipping). After they do the upgrade you can download updates to the software online via USB uplink directly in to your RX. Being in Canada I fell this is a good idea cause you will only ever have to ship your board once and be ready for any future changes to rules and what not. Bare in mind though, the RX is drilled for 2 sets of eyes like the BL Marq but the board will not support a 4C eye system because there is no port for the second set on the board... why I have no idea. I tell you this because you may want to wait for the upgradder board from who ever makes one but there is no word on this as of yet so don't hold your breath. That kit will have to come with a second set of eyes, eye covers to accommodate the 2nd set, the OLED board and most likely grips to show off with. The price tag will be astronomical I'm sure. If it doesn't cost at least $180US I'd be surprised.

There is a CP trigger and a Violent trigger but make sure you get the RX one cause the other one is for the Droid and won't fit properly.

Here is the best info I have ever come across on barrels but the Shift is not in it because it is so new. Performance is the same as the matchstick but is just quieter. The way the inserts go into the backs is brilliant in it's simplicity and versatile because you can purchase an additional back of different threading and still use the rest of the kit. The Sly is one of the quietest barrels on the market according to the testing.

I live in Canada as well and I usually order from Paintball Kingdom. I've never been hit with extra charges because they have always shipped with USPS. UPS tacks on bull **** invented brokerage fees that are ridiculous in cost. You can order directly from MacDev USA in Florida as well. Ordering from the source is always best imo. Especially for international orders.

this site?

as for triggers. i am stuck, choosing between an acid customs trigger.... and the violent series....

acid customs is shaped like the kodachi trigger for the marker, i.e like the alternate trigger for the sl 94.

or a violent series... which one should i choose?

you are saying the rx is ready for 4 eyes but, there is no release for it yet?
if i get it flashed then i can updated it whenever i like from my computer? i have a mac though....
