*******Top 10 Favorite Movies PT2.*******

So the other thread was getting pretty full, I figured it was time for a new one. A year has passed, peoples interests have changed. Please keep the unrelated posts out, if you have something to say, just post it in your own list to keep this clean.

My Top 10:
  • Trainspotting
  • Pulp Fiction
  • V For Vendetta
  • Lord of the Rings Trilogy
  • Cidade de Deus
  • Shawshank Redemption
  • Schindler's List
  • No Country For Old Men
  • Titanic
  • The Dark Knight

Honorable Mentions:
  • Requiem for a Dream
  • The Green Mile
  • Catch Me If You Can
  • Saving Private Ryan
  • American Beauty
  • Boondock Saints
  • One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
  • Snatch
  • Gangs of New York
  • 28 Days Later
  • Crash
  • The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters
  • Kingdom of Heaven
  • Blood Diamond
  • The Big Lebowski
  • Predator
  • Fight Club
  • Alpha Dog
  • The Hangover
  • Full Metal Jacket
  • American History X
  • Grindhouse: Planet Terror
  • A Scanner Darkly
  • Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
  • The Fifth Element
  • In Bruges
  • Leon: The Professional

I started to appreciate a lot of different genre of films now. I added a couple to my top 10 that I enjoy watching all the time (such as Titanic). All of these movies listed here, at least in my opinion, are great works of art, or highly entertaining. I am sure a lot of you will disagree with a lot of it, I am curious what you guys find interesting.

I feel as though that the 2000's are a wasteland for films. And the days of REAL Block Buster hits are over. With that said any movie made post 2000 is just a remake,prequel/sequel or a movie ruined by hype and incredibly high expectations. Of course with anything there are obvious exceptions such as, Castaway, The Pianist ect. but most of the most recent Films leave a lot to be desired unfortunately.

PFFFFF, I always knew you'd be that creepy jazz kid that loves murdering people and eventually becomes a neo-classical metal-head.

Ya, got you all figured out now.
