Hey guys maybe I can get some help over here....the other day I bought 2 used Tac-5s for my newphew and his friend to play. Anyways I dont know a whole lot about them, but I do know tippmanns so I was able to get them apart fairly easy and changed out all the Orings on both of them since they were used and I dont know what condition they were kept in. So I took them both out back and put them over my chrono and 1 of them I cant get the velocity higher than 180 and the second one just wants to go in full auto when I pull the trigger and doesnt stop till I unscrew the tank. Can anyone help me with either of these issues ? Like I said all Orings were changed and it was lubed and oil dropped in the ASA when I air'd them up so those answers wont help....thanks guys.

The mainsprings are crap and lose strength quickly.

Full auto is usually caused by the sear not catching the hammer. Take the covers off the gripframes of both guns and watch the mechanisms of both as you cock them (without air!). See what's different.

ya jts are just crap you can bring it to a local paintball shop and get it fixed but a few months later somthing else will go wrong... jt tac-5 was my first gun to i also had the full auto problem brought it to paintball shop witch it was fixed for 30bucks

Not trying to thread jack or anything but I'm having the opposite problem in my brothers Tac5. I cant get the velocity below 300. Any suggestions?
