I know that shockers are air pigs, but I think there's seriously something wrong with mine. Our air system was filling to 3500 at the time, so I filled the tank to that and went out and played a game. I shot a full hopper plus a pod and my tank was down to below 1000 PSI.
I adjusted the dwell to as low as it could go, the gun's operating pressure is just above 180 and there are definitely no leaks.
Does anyone have any idea what the deal could be with my gun?
well without knowing any information about your gun, these are some things that you can do to maybe fix the prob...
NOX bolt
v2 spring mod
usa a 68/45
and then you need to clean/lube your gat.
but you need to sweet spot your dwell. iv found that most shockers are right on 10. and iv seen this happen to a guy at my field.... his air gauge was broken but it said his input pressure was 180.. he said he was having an air prob and when he shot it sounded really loud for a shocker, and it kicked like a ego.. to make a long story short we found out that it was his gauge.... so you should check that!
okay so your running a he bolt at least
check all your orings make sure they look good and relube the whole bolt assembly that may help you gain your efficency back
Does the gun still shoot the same? I.E. you didn't have to up your dwell or pressure. Also just because you can't hear any leaks doesn't mean they aren't there. Use soapy water to check everywhere you can including the tank fittings, macro and gauge/gauge plug. Some leaks will only occur when the gun is firing so its impossible to hear them or to use soapy water to check for them. But leaks like that are usually accompanied by a change in the way the gun shoots (hence my first question).

pressure should be around 200psi. adjust dwell until it's shooting at your desired velocity. if you still have a problem try changing old seals and re-greasing with sl33k lube from smart parts.

that is where i run all of mine at around 180 if i have mine at 200 im shooting hot
Mine's just right over the 180 mark on the gauge. I took a look at all of the orings, one of them looked a little sketchy and I changed it, cleaned the bolt and lubed it. I'll get to see how it works tomorrow night, I work at the field so I never get to play on weekends except for occasions where our boss is in a good mood lol.
