Rotor painting
yeah so i got into custom painting my vforce grillz from a thread and was wondering if i can get away with doing the same to my rotor seeing as it is a plastic composite. i just dont want to be penalized in tournaments and have to use my backup hopper i play mostly mxl/axbl
I used automotive 3M masking tape its lime green you can find it at any walmart or hardware store
Krylon Fusion Spray paint or Rustoleum all surface paint are the best because they bond well with plastic
I must give credit to Raion because i learned how to do this with my vforce grills and decided to make my hopper match them

Make sure you do 4-5 coats of the paint and then 3-4 coats of Clear. Otherwise it will come off really easy and scratch easy when you dive.

so the Krylon Fusion bonds to the Rotor shell?
What about the color kit parts?

im not sure about the kits part bud i figured id leave that alone but they seem to be plastic so i dont see why they would not bond if you are going for one full color on the hopper
