Closed bolt vs Open
Someone really needs to update the barrel charts floating around.
For example, my son can certainly shoot inferno from his .688 boomstick on his open bolt GZ but that paint rolls out of my .688 barrel when I shoot it from my cocker.

well i have noticed recently that inferno's seemed to be a lot smaller than they used to be...the last batch of Inferno's i used were .684! so i'll have to do some more research on it.

Hey whats up. I use a VL Barrel and was wondering what paint will work well with it. It is not the barrel that comes with VL guns. I just wanted to know. Thanks in advance.

All I wanna know is did he reuse Miscreat's barrel chart...
that he first published in 1999 and that almost every discussion
forum paintball site on the web reprints, usually claiming it as their
own work, but never having been updated to account for stuff like
the manufacturers CHANGING their specs.
Some usual clues is the paint chart lists Brass Eagle and Top brass paint, that it says Diablo Blaze is a medium to large bore paint (in reality its been a .686 small bore paint since 2001), and the barrel chart lists different sizes for the Lapco Autospirit Aluminium and Stainless barrels.

Thats the barrel from Wally World right? If so I think RPS super swirls work well with it. I got a different barrel now so I'm not sure.

What would everyone recommend as a good barrel for under $60 I generally use RPS super swirls (cause of the price). And sometimes RPS feild paint the field paint is definattly smaller.

FYI: I have a J&J 2 piece that came stock on my BM and marb, inferno, etc. roll right out of the barrel. Not complaining just trying to give some updated info. I've been using Midnight since that time and everything seems to match up pretty well with no breaks.
