Exclamation Artifact Film Series-HOLY GRAIL starring Edmonton Impact. Presented by Planet Eclipse

FULL LENGTH Paintball Documentary.

Artifact Film Series-HOLY GRAIL starring Edmonton Impact. Presented by Planet Eclipse.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHKX1uYKT9g

Since the start of 2014, Edmonton Impact has put together one of the most dominant runs in professional paintball history.

But amongst all their series championships and individual tournament wins, paintball's most respected prize has continued to allude them: The World Cup.

Follow Impact as they look for one final victory in their historic 2016 season run, and see how a simple father and sons' outing for the Yachemic family helped create one of professional paintball's most dominant franchises.

Written & Directed by: Dan Napoli

Narrated By: Matt Marshall

Produced by : Planet Eclipse in association with Hurrdat FIlms

run time: approximately 66 minutes.

This is an absolute must for those who don't know where Impact came from.

It's cool to see that they took every opportunity they could to progress, no matter how tough it was for them.

Success doesn't happen overnight. And it doesn't come easy.

How about seeing it posted on FB on PE's page that the video is on PbNation before it actually was and failing asleep on the toilet searching for it. Now that makes a interesting Wednesday night

It's awesome watching this after having watched the two Impact Series seasons earlier, it's great seeing the highs and lows, and how far they've come to become such a dominant team.

Too many people think Impact was an overnight success because of their payroll. I remember watching these guys barrel through the semi-pro division to earn their pro spot and thinking, "these guys will be competitive when they turn pro, they know how to win."

Sorry about that! We were fighting with Youtube until 2:00 in the morning over the rights to songs! It got cleared up waaaay later than anticipated. Even though Eclipse did everything the right way, some automatic system on Youtube kept messing up the sound. Props to Dan Napoli for knowing the right people and sacrificing precious sleep right before an event to fix it for all of us.

Impact was around years before the CXBL existed. They played the MR Series (now CPPL).

I loved seeing Josh Davey in this. He was one of the best players in the league and one of the reasons I think Impact came up so fast and hit the pro division so hard.

Ha....Bart with the B*Slap callout. I knew there was a reason I didn't like Impact.

I remember back in the day (gotta be around 2008 or 2009) I was on TPB forum chat room and one of the members of Impact was in there. I asked him what it was like and he said, "Man, it's hard on us right now. We're trying to find money just to support the team. We get covered for travel and that's it." It's always been cool being told that because when you see people saying that impact is just a bankrolled team I always remember that they came from the same place every paintball team did. They were all broke at one point, they were all trying to grind it out at one point.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
