a soleniod is basically a electrically actuated 4 way(4-ways are what cockers have). It basically redirects air flow. The new soleniods have a "click" sound when pulled, and their bursting pressure is at 600 psi rather than 200 psi. This allows for a more optimal margin of error when adjusting your inline.

How do I get one of these new solenoids?

send your gun to procaps, and have them mill out your frame a bit, so that the new one can fit in. then they will put in the new one and voila! i dunno if you have to pay for them though...most likely...

You most likely have the new solonoid already. Very few old ones wer actually shipped and if you had an olg one you most likely would have already had problems. Degass your gun turn it on and fire the trigger. Listen for a small clicking sound coming from the inside of your gun. If you here it you have the "new solonoid" if you don't you have the old one. There's no difference between the two as far as preformance. The old one was a little less forgiving on pressures above 180psi thats all.

Is is a click when you pull the trigger? Or after. I hear a clicking from my trigger frame not the solenoid itself. Just wondering.
